So, what do you want to see from me?

I thought I would take a vote to see what you want to see from me next. It also buys me time until my next post! ha ha

Do you want me to show off pics of my really cool cars?
Should I post some photos I took in Korea?
Should I post some of my landscape photography (my other love)?

I am so happy you contacted Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep....

You know, sometimes I do get teary-eyed at the sessions... Usually, the only sessions I do, though, is the ones where I am there before and after life support.. Because you watch the parents grieve.
Sometimes I cry afterwards.
Othertimes, I am just sad for the parents afterwards.
But, God comforts me in knowing that I am offering this special gift to the parents (and i always pray over my equipment before I go in... so that it works properly!).. and I think... I just have a very professional (but sensitive) mindset.

I'd love to talk more about this if you want.
Hopefully there are some photographers in your area who are participating? It's new-- Started in 2005, so there might not be. We have 20-35, I think... I'm not sure exactly...

After learning more, going to a meeting (if there are any in your area) or doing a first session, you'll know whether or not you can do it. I totally understand when photographers can't.
But yeah... I just keep it professional... And let them know I'm there only for them... they won't know me as anyone else other than the person who photographed their baby. It's kind of nice that way... secret services:)

and (sorry for posting again, haha! I have lots of afterthoughts!)...

I enjoy looking at ANY photos from photographers.

Post something that YOU enjoy.
Maybe some favorite photos that you've taken and never shared? And why they're your favorites?

5 pictures of the first catagory
8 pictures of the second, and
LOTS of the last. :D

I agree, post photos that you love- whether it's that you love who is in them, how they came out, what they are about, anything. Posting about what you are passionate about is such a draw for readers, Ok certainly for me! It really doesn't matter if it's a snapshot, if there is a story behind it that made you laugh, or that it was a special moment but maybe not necessarily the world's best image...This is where blogs are great, they afford us the luxury of having time to tell the story behind the images! So, post MORE! Oh, and I posted my very random but hardly as interesting facts about myself! :P

Thanks everyone! I am flying out tomorrow for a wedding at Club Med in Florida tomorrow and when I return home on Sunday I will post some cool pics to share!

Ginger: That is so cool you are a adopted! Isn't it wonderful! Best thing that ever happened to our family!
So, I hope that there are more photogs in the area so I can get involved with NILMDTS. It just seems like the right thing for me to get involved in.

Carla: glad you got around to posting your facts! I will check them out!

Now that's a cool idea. Why didn't I think of that one. That's a great way to postpone the next update. Hope all is well with you.
